Nomination and Election

The Redeemer School Board of Directors (Board) is composed of seven to eleven members of Redeemer School, Inc. These Directors are chosen from among members in good standing of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and its affiliated churches, parents of Redeemer School students and friends of Redeemer School who are in substantial agreement with the reformed system of doctrine outlined in the Westminster Confession of Faith.

The Board nominates new Directors at the annual corporate meeting, and they are elected by a majority vote of the corporation.

Terms

Terms are determined in advance by the Board and may be one, two, three, or four years. In practice, Redeemer School typically elects new Directors for an initial three-year term. Directors may be re-elected, but may not serve more than six consecutive years.

Meetings

Meetings are held monthly, with an annual work day held in the spring. Attendance is important, but Directors may miss up to two meetings per year.
