In reliance on God and His Word, Redeemer School affirms the following:
- God has made all people in his image.
- God’s design for marriage is a covenant relationship between one man and one woman.
- God intends for sexual intimacy to be expressed within the covenant of marriage for purposes of relational unity, procreation, and pleasure.
- Because of the reality of sin and the subsequent brokenness of creation, struggles with sexuality are part of the human condition which Christ came to redeem.
- Sexual intimacy outside of the covenant of marriage is sinful.
- All sinners, regardless of their sexual struggles, by confessing and repenting of their sin, can find grace, forgiveness, and restoration through Jesus Christ.
- The scripture asks those who are not in a state of covenant marriage to hold themselves to celibate, chaste, and holy lives as historically celebrated in the community of the church.
