Redeemer School has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. Ever since the first day, I always loved it and felt at home. I made so many friends and because we were all so close it felt like a family. I knew the teachers and staff cared and wanted the best for us. I always felt I could go to the teachers in times of need and that they would understand how I felt.

The school played a big part in my faith. Our school truly modeled what being Christ-like looked like. We learned so much about Christ in the things we did and learned that we can see Christ’s power in almost everything we do. I liked that we were able to read scripture and pray at our school because it allowed us to draw closer to Him and His Word.

I will never forget my years at Redeemer School and how it helped shape my life to be Christ-like and desire to spread the Word of God to others.

What has compelled us to send our three children to Redeemer for their elementary and middle school years?  First and foremost, it is the opportunity for them to base all of their learning on a Biblical foundation; to understand that God is the Creator and all education can and should point to Him, whether directly or indirectly.  For our children to be able to study and memorize the Word of God as a part of their formal education is invaluable.  That they pray in the classroom with and for their school mates and teachers is priceless.

The smaller class size of Redeemer has so many advantages, not the least of which is the opportunity it provides for my children to be truly known by their teachers.  It never fails to thrill me to find that my children’s teachers have discovered my children’s strengths as well as their weaknesses with amazing insight.  With this knowledge they are able to shepherd and teach my child more effectively.

We have chosen public high school for our children as they graduate from Redeemer, and have found they are thoroughly equipped to succeed academically, socially, and spiritually. Redeemer School has been the best investment we could have made for our children and for our family as a whole, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this community.

We have the privilege and blessing of having had two children graduate from Redeemer School, and our youngest is a current Redeemer School student. The teachers truly have a passion for teaching, and they have nurtured and served and led and challenged and loved and shepherded our kids well. The curriculum in the hands of the teachers not only taught them all of the instructional information needed to prepare them for high school, but also how to learn. In addition to academics, they were also prepared spiritually and socially to transition to high school.

My children know they have a heavenly Father who loves them deeply and is with them wherever they go. The unique curriculum at Redeemer has also as far as we can tell instilled in our children a love of learning, which we hope will be a solid foundation for life. One treasured memory from years past was hearing the hymn ”Holy, Holy, Holy” sung from our bath tub after a few weeks in kindergarten! We are thankful to be a part of this school and the covenant community.

We have seen our two sons thrive in Redeemer School’s unique educational environment.  Some things we like most about the program are the small class sizes and the literature-based curriculum.  Reading and narrating what they have learned from living books — well-written literature that intelligently presents insightful ideas with passion and imagination — engages the students and encourages critical thinking and a deep understanding of the subject matter.

Our sons have been able to reflect on what they’ve learned and “connect the dots” at a very early age instead of just memorizing facts to pass tests.  We are confident that their educational experience at Redeemer School will prepare them well for future studies and encourage them to be lifelong learners.
